The Art of Imperfection

RETRO FUTURISM x SWAROVSKI

In a world increasingly defined by digital distortion, environmental urgency, and identity fluidity, this collection responds to the need for more inclusive, sustainable, and expressive fashion systems. Inspired by glitch art and the altered perception of colourblindness, it reimagines London’s urban landscape as a space where imperfections become aesthetics, and disruption leads to innovation.

At the heart of the project lies a prestigious collaboration with Swarovski—where discarded materials meet luxury craftsmanship. Textile waste is reinterpreted through slashing, layering, and deconstruction techniques, then elevated with Swarovski crystal detailing. This approach not only diverts waste from landfills but challenges the dichotomy between waste and value, craft and couture.

COLOUR STORY

Inspired by the diverse perceptions of colorblind individuals, collection’s palette mirrors their unique vision. Predominantly rooted in monochromatic tones reminiscent of grayscale, reflecting the world of those with monochromatism. Yet, vibrant pops of color from other types of color - blindness infuse the collection, symbolizing the dynamic contrasts they perceive.
